The Cork & Kettle opened its doors in June of 2014. We are proud to be the 4th location for Heart of the Desert Pistachios & Wines. Heart of the Desert, located at Eagle Ranch in Alamogordo, New Mexico is the state's oldest and largest producing pistachio grove. A fully integrated agri-business, Heart of the Desert grows, harvests, processes, packages and sells their delicious pistachio nuts right there on the farm. Owners George and Marianne Schweers added grapes to the mix in 2002 and today Eagle Ranch boasts 12,000 pistachio trees and 24,000 grapevines.

The Cork & Kettle is owned by Mark & Laura Doth. As George and Marianne's daughter, Laura grew up tending the pistachio trees and has spent much of her life working on projects for the farm. When the opportunity to expand Heart of the Desert's interests into Ruidoso came around, Laura and Mark gathered the family and rolled up their sleeves. With the expertise of daughters Nicole and Lexie and their friend Scioscia Flowers, they scrubbed, painted and worked to make the Cork & Kettle a warm and inviting place to spend an afternoon with friends.
